Leonid Lisovsky was an Ukrainian composer and teacher. Studied at Kharkov University, then at the St. Petersburg Conservatoire with Soloviev, graduating in 1898. Founded a music school in Poltava in 1896. Also taught in Kharkov and Tblisi. From 1918, lived in Kharkov and taught at the Conservatoire and the Music Technicum.
