Ancient Toccatas

The collection includes works by six Italian composers of the 17th-19th centuries: D. Zipoli, P. Paradisi, M. Rossi, F. Durante, D. Scarlatti and F. Pollini.
The pieces are grouped by author and arranged in order of increasing difficulty.
When selecting the material, Italian publications were used: Mero – “Harpsichordists” (volume II) and the anthology of G. d’Annunzio – “Classical Music of Italy”. The musical text of the collection basically corresponds to these editions. The revisors limited themselves to indicating fingerings and pedals.
